Uganda Safaris
Explore private gorilla trekking, chimpanzee habituation, and big game savannah safaris crafted around unhurried travel pacing.
100% private journeys tailored to your rhythm.
Uganda works best when the safari has a clear anchor. For many travellers that is gorilla trekking. For others it is a longer wildlife route through Murchison Falls, Kibale, Queen Elizabeth and the southwest.
We plan private safaris only. That means the vehicle, pacing and accommodation level are built around your party rather than a fixed group departure.

Gorilla safaris
A short gorilla safari can focus on Bwindi or Mgahinga with enough time to arrive rested, trek and leave without turning the journey into a race.
For a dedicated route, see Uganda gorilla safaris.
Gorilla and wildlife safaris
This is the strongest all-round Uganda format. Gorilla trekking anchors the trip, then Queen Elizabeth, Murchison Falls or Lake Mburo adds savannah wildlife.
The parks should be chosen by geography and trip length. A seven-day safari does not need four national parks.
See Uganda gorilla and wildlife safaris.
Chimpanzee safaris
Kibale National Park is the main base for chimpanzee tracking. It can be the focus of a shorter primate trip or part of a longer route toward Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi.
See Uganda chimpanzee safaris.
Accommodation levels
We plan with budget, midrange and luxury lodges. These labels describe the stay, not the quality of the safari planning.
A budget lodge in the correct trekking sector can be a better choice than a luxury property that creates an unnecessary transfer. The right vehicle, guide and route matter at every tier.
How long should a Uganda safari be?
Three to five nights works for a focused short trip. Seven to ten nights gives enough room for gorillas plus one or two complementary parks. Twelve to fourteen nights supports a broader western and northern route without making every day a transfer.
If the quotation looks like a list of famous places connected by long arrows, cut something.
Private safari means useful flexibility
Private travel gives you control over pacing, rest stops and the daily route within park and permit rules. It does not mean wildlife can be scheduled or park regulations ignored.
The point is a better fit, not fake exclusivity.
Start with the hardest thing to move
For gorilla trips, that is the permit. For a safari using domestic flights, it may be the flight schedule. Build outward from those fixed points.
Plan a custom Uganda safari when you are ready to turn the route into actual dates.
